Hammond Hendrix

I have over 12 years of successful Film Production experience, to include Producing and Production Management, Broadcast Production, and writing and editing.  I am an awarded filmmaker with over twenty projects to my name and will have my first feature documentary completed in June of 2006. My varied background not only includes film, but also Software Development among Austin’s high tech community.

As one of the co-founders of MoonTower Productions eight years ago, I currently hold the title of Producer/Director.

I am a graduate of St. Edwards University in Austin, TX and received my Bachelor of Arts in Economics with minors in Biology and French.  I've lived in Austin, TX since 1970 and I am married to co-founder Joan Hendrix.  I enjoy Scuba diving, serving as a film mentor to RTF student at The University of Texas and chasing after my two feisty Welsh Corgis, Camille and Angus.

I have over 10 years of Production Management, Sales, and Marketing experience within the Texas community.  My career background is diverse. I am a nationally recognized Pharmaceutical Specialist as well as awarded filmmaker. For the past 8 years I have worked part-time assisting in the shooting of Industrials for our largest client Motorola, as well as creating festival shorts.

As one of the co-founders of MoonTower Productions, I  moved into a full-time position as Production Manager and completed my first feature documentary in 2006.

I am a graduate of The University of Texas at Austin and received my Bachelor or Arts in English with minors in Nursing and Psychology.  I've lived in Austin since 1980, just celebrated my 13^th wedding anniversary to Hammond, and spend much of my free time volunteering for local animal causes.
